A Week In The Life: Dan Carr Day 5&6
After breakfast we jumped into the van and drive 20 minutes out of Niseko up a road past one of the smaller ski hills in the area. Instead of using chair lifts we decided to use our skins and touring gear to access the fresh snow that had fallen that night. We drove up the road past the ski hill to the next valley and parked up on the side of the road amongst a few other people who had a similar idea. A Week In The Life: Dan Carr Day 3&4
At the ski resort Sapporo Kokusai the day before we had found decent snow but not the best terrain for filming. Instead of heading to a ski hill today, we decided to drive some roads that we had seen near the resort. Many of the roads actually went higher than the ski hill so we were guaranteed to find snow that was at least as deep, and possibly better. |
