Do you remember when you realized photography was more than a point and shoot camera?
My uncle was a photographer as well and when i was around 15 years old i fall in love with the magic of catching moments with my camera.
What was your first camera? And what is your current.
One of my first cameras was a Leica M6 rangefinder, now i use a wide range of nikon digital bodies and a Leica M6!
What has photography done to your life?
Gave me the chance to travel and play the world and earn money to the same time.
As a career photography has let you see much of the world. Where are the places you wish to return or are most memorable?
I have traveled a few times to Nepal, the country and the people are the most impressive I ever saw... wonderful!
Being an action sport photographer, one would generally assume you also play the games you shoot. What are favorite sports to do with out a camera bag on your back?
I love mountainbiking, snowboarding and alpine climbing.
Who or what do you look too find inspiration in?
To be honest, I love to flip through magazines in a good bookstore.
Life behind a lens means being witness to the best of times and the worst. Please let us know an experience from each.
Best: Climbing the highest mountain in Iran, Damavand 5610meters high and be the first boarding it with a snowboard.
Worst: Being in Alaska for 2 weeks and stuck with bad weather. Not one day saw the sun and zero heli-time :-(
What would you say to a young shooter with who dreams of traveling the world taking photos of the elite athletes in our sports?
Don't get lost in the digital world, keep it real and be good!
Tell us one over looked lesson you have learned in the photo business:
That digital photography is not cheaper... it's way more expensive!
