What was your first camera? And what is your current.
First camera was a nikon n90. currently I shoot with canon 1DS and 5D and I have a Holga or two that sits around and collects dust.
As a career photography has let you see much of the world.Where are the places you wish to return or are most memorable?
I love Brazil, I've been there twice already in the past year for work and I can't get enough of that place. The people, the cities, yah I could live there for sure. as for the mountains; I love the Alps for its accessibility, Patagonia for its rawness, and the whites for the fall. As for cities I love; Bangkok for the shopping (and suits!), Rio for the beaches and Acai, and San Francisco for sushi ran (ok thats sausalito) and the light fog days. But really I love traveling, so i think I'd be happy just about anywhere.
Being an action sport photographer, one would generally assume you also play the games you shoot. What are favorite sports to do with out a camera bag on your back? Well I still am a sponsored climber so I love climbing. I'm re-learning how to not suck in the backcountry on skis and can hold my own on a board.
Who or what do you look too find inspiration in?
I kind of alluded to this above, but I really love being around people that are really passionate and good at what they do. it doesn't matter if its a graffiti artists or a runner or a musician. When I shoot photos and videos of these people I want to do their talent justice. So I think it brings out the best in me as a result._td18983

Life behind a lens means being witness to the best of times and the worst. Please let us know an experience from each.
Best: Summit of Lotus Flower Tower in the Cirque of the Unclimbables with my father 2008.
Worst: getting off the plane in Islamabad and seeing a sea of people holding little name signs, but none for you because your team had forgotten the date you were coming it, so you pay a random guy to drive you to a random hotel that might have internet so that you can figure out how the hell you are going to get to the other side of the karakorum highway.
What would you say to a young shooter with who dreams of traveling the world taking photos of the elite athletes in our sports?
Go for it. You will learn so much about art, business, computers, people, sport and more... and even if you move on to greener pastures you won't ever regret it.
Tell us one over looked lesson you have learned in the photo business:
Your cool photos should be made, not just stored in your head.
