Colin Adair Lands the Cover of the new "The Storming" DVD
F-Stop Gear's Faction Member Colin Adair lands the cover of "The Storming" by Standard Films.
"I have worked with Standard Films for a few years now. Last year I shot the cover for their DVD Black Winter as well as some photos for the inside cover. This year I did a 2 week heli trip with them to Haines, Alaska where we had a lot of bad weather but it fit in with the concept of their movie. I ended up shooting a lot of mountain landscapes up there and that's what you see in the background of The Storming DVD and ads. The main shot of the rider was on another trip to Sonora, CA in April this year. It's Torstein Horgmo hitting a jump in the backcountry there. I was really happy with how it looked this year. It's much different than the normal stuff you see in snowboarding so it's a good one for the portfolio."
