First some quick statistics about the Photo Newsletters:
- You do not need to own or use F-Stop bags to contribute to any of the newsletters.
- We started this newsletter to inspire other photographers while helping give some notoriety to up and coming photographers - which is why we publish more pictures than just images from Kemple, Seo, Gunderson, Carr, etc...
- Our average photo newsletter is now viewed about 4k times per issue (including photo editors for many US Sports mags, and a growing list of photo editors for mags in the UK, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, and Italy) and that number is still growing.
- F-Stop included a small flyer with each shipment giving information about the newsletter. We have also include a flyer for the newsletters in direct mail pieces that go out to thousands of people in North America every year
- We are also making a big push to increase awareness through an internet banner ad campaign (please send us a note if you are interested in putting a banner ad up on your site for the newsletter).
- We are also run a mini poster / postcard campaign through all our affiliates. As part of this campaign we print mini posters / post cards and then post them in local places such as coffee shops, camera store, and any place else where photographers might congregate. If you would like to receive posters so you can put them up in your town, please let contact us.
- The newsletter is laid out in illustrator and published only to the web - in iPaper format and a locked PDF - editing and printing locked. That way folks can view it in a format that they prefer.
- There is no charge for people to receive the newsletter, and people can opt to receive one or all of the Photo Newsletters.
- There is no compensation to the photographers, nor are the newsletters heavily branded for F-Stop.

All you need to do to contribute is send us an email your image (or use our online photo newsletter submission form), photo release, and image info. You can download a Photographer Release (Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, Rich Text Format); a Model Release (Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, Rich Text Format); and an Image Info sheet here. Please only send one image per email and please put the name of the image as the subject of the email (this will make it much easier for the editors).
We encourage each photographer to submit multiple images, having a variety of images really makes the layout much easier for the editor. Just as a point of clarification on the form, each image will be clearly marked copyright the photographer directly on the image. Any additional watermarking should be applied directly to the image prior to sending. We have the best results with at least medium resolution (150dpi) images that are at least 5.5" x 8.5". The newsletter is published in iPaper (Flash) and a locked (no printing or editing) adobe PDF to try to prevent image theft. Your image will only be used in the newsletter and for things related to the newsletter, although the newsletter will show up in its entirety on multiple websites.
