Jerome Colombo is a 46-year-old French photographer living in Brittany. He is an engineer by training and has worked his entire career in the automotive industry.

He started photography at the age of 16 and has always been fascinated by the sea and he fell in love with Brittany to the point of coming to live there for a few years. He quickly became interested in landscape photography and its specificities, such as the use of ND and GND filters. His attraction to the sea and photography naturally led him towards seascapes. From that moment on, he started as a professional photographer. During his workshops, he not only offers to share his knowledge in the preparation and practice of photography, but also to discover the most beautiful places in Brittany and the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel. Jerome has always had Nikons.

He currently only uses one camera and it's still the Nikon Z7. Despite the recent arrival of the fantastic Z9 and Z8, he has not given in to temptation and is patiently waiting for the arrival of a replacement for the Z7 to change it. On the other hand, he is much more demanding in terms of lenses and has chosen to invest in the most efficient for his specialty which are now: 14-24 f/2.8, 24-70 f/2.8 and 100-400 f/4.5 -5.6. To transport all of his equipment, Jerome uses an f-stop Ajna daily, but sometimes uses a Tilopa for traveling or a Guru UL for "light" outings.

Ellen van den Doel is a landscape photographer from the Netherlands. She is photographing since 2009 but landscapes became more and more her passion. Born and raised on the island Goeree Overflakkee she is always surrounded with water. Water is an important theme in her photography. Playing at the beach with the camera and long exposures and ND filters is her favorite thing to do. The coast gives Ellen always new inspiration and it is a good place to clear the mind. But she photographs more than only seascapes. Foggy sunrises with a classic windmill or in a nature reserve are also her favorite. She doesn’t photograph only in the Netherlands, but also in other countries. Iceland and Madeira our favorite places to go to. She loves to go out during sunrise or sunsets and go hunting for the perfect light or sky. This means that you need to have knowledge about the weather forecast to predict the beautiful moments.

In her studies for her previous jobs, learning to teach was an important part. When she grow more and more into photography she decided to combine both worlds into giving workshops. Knowing how to teach people is a very important part of giving workshops. People have to feel comfortable and also having a good time. That way the learning part about photography, becomes a lot easier for them. Ellen gives workshops since 2015. She is also organizing photo tours to Iceland, Madeira, Tuscany, Dolomites and to Northern Spain. The workshops and photo tours are hosted by Dutch Photo Academy. Ellen is also the founder of that organization. Letting people enjoy photography and other countries gives her so much energy.
