Born and raised in New Jersey, Mike is a former musician who started his craft by photographing live music performances.  His dedication towards photography has taken his journey from the sun to the moon and even the Milky Way — It’s all about getting that once in a lifetime shot!

Mike will plan his shoots a couple of weeks in advance. Preparation is key to capturing that big moon or that lightning shot — Even if he finds himself running in a thunderstorm to a location or navigating in the dark to shoot the moon. 

Mike was featured on the TV station News 12 NJ for his time lapse of the SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket over New Jersey. In addition, the rocket was also published on Accuweather, Yahoo and MSN. Other TV stations where his work was featured on were WPIX & NY1.  Mike is also an ambassador for f-stop and Lume Cube.

Mauro is a professional landscape photographer. Born in Naples, Italy, Nature has become his greatest source of inspiration, so much so as to increase the desire to represent it and share it through his eyes. What excites him most is night photography. He loves to represent the beauty of our planet with that of the universe through "astro-landscape" shots.

Vince Maidens is a Canadian wildlife photographer and workshop / safari leader. Award winning photographer and contest judge Vince has traveled the globe to photograph all forms of wildlife, especially owls. Mentoring and continued education are also a passion of Vince’s as he strives to help better the art of photography with constructive critique and challenging projects.

Will is an outdoor leader and wildlife filmmaker based in remote north east Scotland. His passion is all things nature and his photography and filming has taken him to the dense jungles of Java and Borneo to the chilly plateaus of Norway. His background is as an animal biologist and has been working as a photographer and camera op for the last three years.

Will runs photography workshops around the country but focusses mainly on working with young adults from Scotland. Participants can look forward to learning a lot about native flora and fauna, tracking skills and how to take a good image. 

Will’s work has been seen in Bird Photographer of the Year, BBC Wildlife, RSPB, ITV, and more. He loves nothing more than working with people and animals. His adventurous lifestyle has enabled him to work with some unique and beautiful animals.

Matteo Gaglio is an Italian professional nature photographer.

He lives in Pisa, Tuscany and his work concerns the research of large mammals to tell stories through photographs.

Organizes workshops and tours throughout Europe.

Matt Meisenheimer is a passionate photographer and adventurer with a deep love for capturing unique compositions in breathtaking locations. His journey in photography has taken him around the world, where he has both instructed and photographed. As a key figure at Backcountry Journeys, Matt has played a vital role in organizing many of their 100+ photography workshops. He is dedicated to sharing his expertise, helping fellow photographers hone their skills, and creating unforgettable experiences in the field.

Matan is a pro photographer, 39 years old, born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel.
As an avid world traveler and explorer, Matan has been to over 85 countries and the count goes on. Being in some of the most remote locations in the world from Mount Everest to the Dead Sea and from the lush jungles of the Amazon Forest to the Kalahari desert.

In 2018 Matan decided to sell his property management company and focus on photography full time. He is passionate about exploring, and sharing knowledge with others.

Mark, a full-time photographer based in Cornwall (UK), has been fascinated by the ocean his entire life. The ocean's many moods are a significant source of inspiration for him, particularly the dramatic storms resulting from North Atlantic weather systems in Autumn/Winter.

Mark's storm images have been widely published, and he has written numerous articles on coastal photography. He also leads specialized seascape workshops both in the UK and internationally, in locations such as Iceland, Madeira, and Lanzarote. Mark resides in Cornwall with his wife and furry companion, Pixel. 

Mark Bauer has been a professional landscape photographer for over 20 years. Based in the south-west of England, he is best-known for his evocative landscapes of his local area, but his work has taken him around the world and his work has appeared in publications in many countries. He writes extensively for the UK photographic press and has authored 8 books on photography, including the best-selling The Landscape Photography Workshop (with Ross Hoddinott).

He is a multi-award winner, having had numerous images commended and highly commended in major competitions, including the UK Landscape Photographer of the Year and the International Landscape Photographer of the Year. He has been a category winner in both the International Garden Photographer of the Year and the Outdoor Photographer of the Year. 

He is an extremely experienced photography tutor and when not taking his own photographs, he enjoys helping others develop their skills on the various workshops he runs throughout the UK and further afield.
