David lives on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and specialises in Landscape, Architectural and Creative photography.
David’s first experience behind the lens was in his twenties. He left Australia and made London a base for overseas adventure. David spent the next decade travelling the developing world, capturing his experiences on a used SLR.
Two decades later, after raising two girls, completing a master’s degree and building a career as a software engineer, David stumbled back into photography after sitting for a corporate headshot. Sitting in the studio brought back old memories, sitting atop the roof of buses on high-altitude mountain passes and hiking through remote valleys in faraway places. With a mix of nostalgia and a dose of curiosity, David decided to try his hand at photography once again.
Over the next several years, David developed his skills, competed in competitions and received awards from national and international salons, including Best Landscape Photo in Salon.
In 2022, David attained the honour of Fellow from the Australian Photographic Society and in 2025, the Excellence FIAP (EFIAP) distinction from the Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique.
