Originally from Australia, Dee's journey led her to Canada, where she settled in as an exchange student at the age of 17 and never looked back. Now a proud mother and grandmother, Dee's life revolves around her love for photography and her role as a mentor.
During the summers, you'll find Dee immersed in the stunning landscapes of Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada, where she serves as a photography guide, expertly capturing everything from delicate flowers to majestic bears. But when the Canadian winter sets in, Dee's lens shifts to the lush jungles of Costa Rica, her second home, where she finds joy in photographing exotic creatures like frogs, monkeys, and sloths.
Beyond her photography pursuits, Dee is deeply involved in guiding and mentoring women in the field. She is a dedicated member of Women In Wildlife Photography, where she serves as a Costa Rican Guide and co-coordinator, empowering women to explore their passion for wildlife photography.
