Joe Cornish is a landscape photographer with a focus on conservation and education. He studied fine art at Reading University in the 1970s, and went on to become a freelance photographer after three years assisting in Washington and London.

His is also a trustee of the North York Moors National Park Trust. He has hosted most of the Natural History Museum's Understanding Photography evenings since 2011.

Based in North Yorkshire since 1993, he is director of a gallery partnership in Northallerton that shows the work of many photographers (including his own). Joe has worked with many of the greats of contemporary photography, and loves collaborating with artists, musicians and writers.
