Lee Frost is a self-taught, award-winning macro photographer based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK. Specializing in close-up photography of insects and arachnids, he is often out in the field as early as 3 a.m., when cooler temperatures make his subjects less active and easier to capture.
In addition to his photography work, Lee is an ambassador for Cygnustech and Buglife, and also leads photography workshops for Greenwings Holidays.
Lee first picked up a camera 13 years ago, and since then has achieved significant recognition, winning multiple awards and being featured in a wide range of publications worldwide. His work has been featured by National Geographic and BBC Earth, and he has appeared across various BBC platforms including BBC News, BBC Radio, BBC Brazil, BBC Spain, and in a filmed feature with BBC Midlands.
