Great "medium size" backpack

Having used the Loka for many years I wasn't sure if this is the right size for all the gear I'm using. So far I'm really happy with my choice. I used it for traveling and it fits perfectly into the overhead bin. The materials and the finish look premium and the pack itself is quite light weight and comfortable to wear. Usually I'm using a one or two body setup with several lenses sometimes with a flash head which all fits well into the backpack. The hip belt pocket is really handy for any accessories you need to access fast and the top pocket leaves enough space to store all the other accessories. The padded top handle is a really nice development. A feature that my old backpack didn't have, that's a big plus. I still haven't managed to test all the features of the backpack (like the laser cut molle to add an extra pocket to the pack), but so far I couldn't find any major negative points about it. I'm really happy with the pack and I can definitely recommend.

Solid option in 26-33L sizing

I’m not new to F-Stop products, but my overall experience is built around 50L Tilopa. I wanted to replace my not-so reliable 26L backpack with something from F-Stop and I did it. I like the fact that I can use all my accessories with this backpack (although, I need smaller ICU for it, L-sized one feels too big for it). This backpack is VERY lightweight, waterproof and really feels like a premium product (and it actually is). Highly recommend if you are looking for a backpack in-between 26 to 33L.

Great pack!

I just spent two weeks looking for wildlife in Ivory Coast, and this pack was fantastic! It is lightweight with a comfortable supportive internal frame. The outer fabric held up well to mud, rain, hot, and humid conditions … and it cleans up easily. My camera gear stayed nice and safe. The capacity is perfect for a day in the forest. There are plenty of straps and intelligently placed attachment sites over the external pack. There is a noticeable lack of internal pockets which was an adjustment from my older f-stop pack. No huge deal. The medium slope ICU is a really tight fit so I prefer the regular medium. The stitching along the upper elastic band of the external water bottle holder pocket is already unraveling in 2 places. Not sure what that bodes for long term durability, but it is a little concerning. Overall I love this pack. I used and abused my prior f-stop pack for almost 15 years before it finally gave up. Looking forward to many adventures with this new one. Thanks f-stop!

Perfect for short photographic outings

(ENG) I've used the Kashmir on several outings and I find it to be a very good backpack, especially considering what it's designed for. It's not a backpack with lots of pockets, compartments, or accessories (and sometimes those are missed), like other models (such as the Tilopa). Instead, it focuses on simplicity and lightness, stripping away anything that's not essential. On a few occasions, I've been caught in light rain, and the interior of the backpack stayed dry. I mainly use it for short photographic outings that don't require a lot of accessories or non-photographic items. For example, for moon photography, I use the Pro Large ICU to carry two telephoto lenses—in this case, the Sony 200-600 and the Sony 70-200—along with their respective cameras, and still have some extra space for other accessories (in the photo, with a solar filter). There's also a small upper compartment that fits a lightweight jacket. I also use it for short mountain photography outings, with the Shallow Medium ICU (as shown in the photo, it fits a camera with the Sony 70-200 f/4.0 mounted, a Sony 28-70 mm f/3.5-5.6, a Samyang 24 mm f/1.8, a Sony 50 mm f/1.8, a Sony A7III with an L-plate, a Sony 16-35 f/2.8, a filter kit, and a phone holder). In this case, the remaining space in the top section does allow for carrying more non-photographic items.

My favorite camera backpack!

This bag is a really good blend of durable materials and a light weight. It easily holds a 70-200, 24-70, and a camera body with room to spare. It isn’t out of place to wear to sports tournaments either. Love it!

Great bag!

I was pleasantly surprised with this bag. Love the materials and the durability. It took me a minute but I was able to fit a large ICU and I have plenty of room for all my gear. It is comfortable and fits my body well. I have the female version and the color! I freaking love that magma red. It’s a stylish and durable pack.

Kashmir 2 Air 33L

Ok bag but nothing amazing. The zippers get caught often and it doesn't sit well. I have had numerous of my friends try it as I thought it was an experience unique to my body shape however with 4 of my friends trying it we can all say that it sits uncomfortably on the female body. Not worth Aud750

Really lovely compact and light camera bag!

I was looking for a replacement for my Lotus (1st generation) because it was showing some age after years of use and abuse… I was hesitating between the Kashmir 2 Air and the Loka 4 Core but went for the new Kashmir because it allows me to use a Large Pro ICU as well as smaller ICUs. The Large Pro ICU is a tight fit but does fit. And because it can fit a Large Pro ICU doesn’t mean you should fill it like in some of the pictures I shared. The bag has most of the functionality features from the Mountain Series and can carry some weight but if I want to do long hikes or carry a lot of camera gear, I will definitely use my Tilopa which has a beefier harness system. The Kashmir Air will be perfect to carry two Canon R5 and two lenses for short day hikes…it feels super light and surprisingly comfortable considering the straps are very thin. It carries weight nicely on the waist strap thanks to the aluminum frame… It has fewer features than the regular Mountain Series, it has fewer pockets but it feels very well built. The zippers are high quality as per usual on all f-stop bags…it’s a f-stop bag after all! Very happy with my purchase so far. One thing that doesn't bother me but could bother others, the Arctic White fabric is a little bit on the translucent side...I wanted that colour because it reminded me of my old Loka from almost 10 years ago! I loved that bag so much and I am super happy to have a new white f-stop bag! :-)

Great bag

I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this bag is given that it is very light weight and the shoulder straps and belt have thin padding. It’s much more comfortable than many other camera backpacks I have tried. I used it with the medium modular insert or just pad my gear and use it without any insert. This is my first F-stop bag. Great buy. Very pleased.
