USWe bought a discount REI brand bag that was missing a it's sternum strap and this was a great fix for a good price.
USI found the tiny sternum strap on the Toshi Rework backpack too small, so I looked for a replacement. However, this rail-type sternum strap is hard to find. I stumbled on the F-Stop sternum strap and it fits the backpack perfectly and is much easier to use...no more fumbling with a tiny buckle
USSeems well made and it’s certainly not f-stop’s fault but if you’re looking for a replacement sternum strap for an Osprey pack this won’t fit although it looks similar
USOne of the sternum straps on my REI pack kept pulling out. It took a little elbow grease, but I was able to swap out both sides with this replacement strap in less than 2 minutes without needing to use any tools. Definitely better than the original strap!
USIt is a little hard to put on but I used this to replace the sternum strap on my Northface back pack. It makes such a huge difference!
CAI took issue with the high cost of shipping, to which they responded very quickly. They were able to adjust the rate to something considerably more reasonable. Very responsive and helpful. The product was exactly as described so I’m happy.
