Un Viaggio Fotografico tra Scogliere, Fiordi e Luci Magiche

Supreet Sahoo is an enthusiastic birdwatcher and photographer, specializing in Tropical bird photography in Latin America. Their work has earned recognition in esteemed publications such as BBC Earth, National Geographic Spain, and Sanctuary Asia, among others.
Originally hailing from India, Supreet has now established their residence in Austin, US. Their passion for photography ignited when they were handed their father's Yashica point & shoot camera during a family excursion to a national park in Eastern India.
With a rich on-field experience spanning 15 years, Supreet has explored various regions of India. Nevertheless, their primary focus lies in tropical bird photography in Latin America. Collaborating with naturalists and guides in the rainforests of Central and South America, they have diligently built a network, devised conservation strategies, and organized bird photography tours to raise awareness about the diverse wildlife and avian species these countries harbor.
Over their years in the tropical rainforests, Supreet has captured images of more than 3000 bird species, and this list continues to expand. Their ultimate goal is to broaden their portfolio, showcasing the world the beauty and vulnerability of wildlife, emphasizing the crucial need for conservation, awareness, and appreciation.
In line with their vision, Supreet initiated their bird photo tour company, Tropical Photo Tours, in 2017. These tours offer photographers from around the globe the opportunity to witness the diverse birdlife within Latin American rainforests, all while contributing to the well-being of local communities, guides, and the economies of these countries that rely on eco-tourism. Whether it's spotting owls and quetzals on private farms in Costa Rica or discovering Cock of the Rock leks on private farms in Colombia, Supreet ensures that their guests capture the best possible images.
