Growing up on a small farm in the Missouri Ozarks, Trevor has always had a passion for wildlife. With a Master’s degree in Biology, Trevor’s career has been focused around guiding and environmental education. Over the years, he has spent a lot of time volunteering at zoos and sanctuaries, assisting with conservation projects and research, and traveling to remote places to document wildlife. As a photographer, he currently spends most of his time working as a guide for Backcountry Journeys, leading workshops globally, focusing on landscape and wildlife photography. In addition, he is also one of the company’s bear guides, who gets the privilege to take folks on epic adventures to Alaska to photograph brown bears. When he's not leading photography tours, he spends his free time working on passion projects while seeking out new adventures.
