Repair & replacement options 

We offer multiple ways to address issues with your gear: 

  1. Send to f-stop for repair 
    Ship your product to the nearest f-stop pickup location. Our team will evaluate, repair, and return it. This option is recommended for complex or warranty-covered repairs. 
  1. Local repair kit 
    Minor issues can be repaired locally using a kit provided by f-stop, along with detailed instructions. This will allow faster turnaround without shipping your gear internationally. 
  1. UpPack trade-In program 
    Trade in your product for credit toward a new purchase. This option is ideal if you want to upgrade to newer products and help others. Learn more about upPack 

Coverage details

Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. Items damaged due to misuse, overloading, improper care, or external factors (e.g., sand or debris in zippers) are not covered. 

Most product failures fall under one of the following “Five Reasons for Failure” categories: 

  1. External Debris Damage: Sand, dirt, or grit interfering with zippers or closures. 
  2. Excessive Force: Pulling beyond recommended limits causing material stress. 
  3. Normal Wear: General use over time affecting fabric or straps. 
  4. Misuse: Using the product for purposes outside its intended design. 
  5. Accidental Damage: Incidents outside f-stops control (drops, impacts, environmental damage). 

        Also, this warranty excludes all claims to any incidental or consequential loss to personal property. Some states, provinces and countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion may not apply to you.

        How to initiate a warranty claim 

        1. Submit a support ticket with details and photos of the product. 
        2. Our team will evaluate your claim and guide you to the appropriate option: repair, local repair kit, or upPack trade-in. 
        3. Ship the product if needed and track the progress through our support portal.

        This warranty is extended by f-stop LLC, P.O. Box 771194, St. Louis, MO 63177-2194 and is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA.
