Ambassador Workshops & Tours

Barn owls of south Florida July - September 2027

Join me for a private photography tour through the backroads of South Florida, where thriving barn owl populations provide some of the best opportunities in Florida to photograph these incredible birds in the wild thanks to dedicated conservation efforts and habitat management.

This workshop is designed to give photographers more than just memorable images. Along the way, you'll learn about the daily lives and behaviors of barn owls, the conservation work that has helped their population recover, and how ethical wildlife photography can help inspire awareness and protect these remarkable birds.

Workshop Details

  • Location: South Florida (I recommend staying in Clewiston, Florida.)
  • Booking: Minimum of 2 days, maximum of 4 days.
  • Tour Duration: Approximately 3 hours each afternoon, when barn owl activity is typically at its highest.
  • Price: $300 per day, plus $50 per day for one additional participant.
  • Group Size: Maximum of 2 people per tour.

Most photography will be done from the vehicle to minimize disturbance and maximize opportunities. However, I recommend bringing a tripod in case conditions allow us to photograph from a blind.

Because the peak season for barn owl photography in South Florida is brief and summer offers the best opportunities, workshop dates are limited. If you're interested, please contact me directly so we can coordinate the best available dates based on current barn owl activity.
