Adam Juckes is a wildlife photographer, co-host of The WildX Podcast and the co-founder of Apex Adventures, a photographic tour company dedicated to inspiring others through the art of nature photography. Based in the UK, Adam’s work fuses his deep and lifelong passion for the natural world with his love for adventure and photography.
His passion for nature was conceived as a 4 year old, stood with a clutch of Blue Tits in his cupped hands, in his parents back garden, but before embarking on his photographic journey, Adam served in the Royal Air Force, an experience that fostered his sense of adventure, discipline, and connection with the outdoors. It was during this time that his fascination with capturing nature began to flourish, ultimately guiding him to where he finds himself now, pursuing a career in wildlife photography.
As a co-host of The Wildx Podcast, Adam loves exploring the intersection of wildlife photography, nature, and its positive effect on mental well-being. Through candid discussions with fellow photographers, conservationists, and experts, the podcast sheds light on the emotional and therapeutic benefits of connecting with nature, while also raising awareness about some of the critical issues facing wildlife in the modern world.
Whether leading a photography tour with Apex Adventures or sharing his knowledge on The Wildx Podcast, Adam hopes to educate and inspire, to be a leading voice in the wildlife community, blending photography, adventure, and the huge benefits that nature can have on our mental wellbeing.

Nature has always been his biggest source of inspiration when creating his Artwork. Even though Daniel shoots landscape photography, most of his images are in portrait orientation. He simply loves the easier-to-read compositions with fewer distractions thanks to the fact that portrait-oriented images are narrower. As a true lover of winter, his passion has always been to use foregrounds that are rich in detail and winter sure delivers in that department! This feature has also become his signature style. He uses techniques such as Focus Stacking, Focal Length Blending, Time Blending, and many more in the quest for creating impactful images. His work has been recognized and awarded in some of the most prestigious photography contests. Daniel’s words: We spend much of our time working…and since life is pretty short, let’s make sure that we do something we love as a day job!
Miguel Mesquita is a 43 year old photographer based on north of Portugal. His photography world started more than 25 years ago during the days of film with a Pentax camera, and he had the first digital camera in 2001. Most recently, Miguel rediscovered his passion with landscape and seascapes photography. With his beloved photo trips, he had the opportunity of photograph multiple European countries in different scenarios and seasons, becoming very experienced on the field, even in the most demanding environments. According to Miguel, his secret to an amazing landscape picture is to look once, look twice and then when you think you saw everything, look again to choose the best composition and light for your photo, all the photos has it own story.
My journey started at the age of nine when I got a cheap camera as a present. My curiosity about cameras developed fast into a strong passion and years flew by and I started to dedicate my life to photography and lately to filmmaking as well.
As I was also very interested in nature and wildlife things came together and I decided to study environmental protection and engineering to get a solid knowledge about the complicity of our planet. A few years ago I came to the conclusion to combine these two topics and focus myself on wildlife documentation. So a big part of my life is to plan small & huge projects and travel around the world while capturing mesmerizing moments.

Born in Argentina, my passion for exploration and the ocean led me to travel the world in search of extraordinary moments. After years of adventure, I finally found my home in Indonesia, a place where the waves, light, and raw beauty of nature became my greatest inspiration.
With over 12 years of experience as a professional photographer, I specialize in capturing the essence of surf and the ocean. My work goes beyond documenting action; it tells a deeper story of human connection with the sea. I see the ocean as an ever-changing piece of art, where each sunrise, storm, and calm moment unveils a unique palette of colors and emotions.
Beyond photography, I lead surf photography workshops and expeditions to remote locations, offering immersive and authentic experiences. I collaborate with brands, athletes, and storytellers who seek real, unfiltered imagery.
My mission is simple: to capture the ocean at its most powerful and breathtaking moments and share its energy with the world.
