Santiago Arias is a 20-year-old wildlife and nature photographer and filmmaker. He began his journey into photography at the age of 12, using a small camera borrowed from his uncle. Within just a few months, he developed a deep passion for the art form and has never looked back. Today, Santiago studies photography and works as a full-time photographer, traveling the world to capture and explore the beauty of the natural world.
Scott Markewitz is recognized as one of the most influential outdoor photographers in the industry. He has traveled the globe with an unfailing eye in search of action and outdoor adventure in some of the most dramatic locations on Earth. His passion for photography and the outdoors comes through in everything that he shoots, whether it’s action sports, active life style, or environmental portraits. His vibrant images and ability to take any situation and come back with great results have given him the reputation as the go-to guy in the outdoor world. When not on assignment, you’ll find him out big mountain skiing around the world, racing his mountain bike, or trail running in the mountains, pushing his own limits in some of the sports he loves to photograph.

Sean is an outdoor photographer, digital image-developing enthusiast and photography educator based in Ashland, Oregon. Sean's photography grew out of his mountain climbing days when he was taking pictures to document his adventures.
Over time he became immersed in the art of photography itself. Now he photographs mountains instead of climbing them. He is known for his distinctively elegant style of photography and his reputation as one of the pioneers of progressive image development. His contributions to the art of using luminosity masks have made him one of the world’s top experts on the subject. His previous career as a science teacher makes photography education a good fit.
Sean teams up with fellow Photo Cascadia members to lead workshops. He also teaches digital image developing classes, lectures, and offers a series of Photoshop video tutorials.
Petra is a nature photographer with a passion for the magic and diversity of our nature. She originally started taking documentary-style travel photography with her analogue cameras during countless trips around the world. But over the years the focus shifted to nature photography.
Using various recording techniques, she tries to awaken emotions in her pictures and show the uniqueness of our nature. Capturing the diversity of motifs in the changing seasons, long exposures, cloud moods or the magic of a starry night always inspires her.
Combinations of creative to abstract representations always provides a lot of fun and new perspectives on well-known motifs. Her heart beats for the far north of Europe with its clear colors and minimalist landscapes. She imparts her knowledge and love of photography in individual individual or mini courses, whereby the practice and fun of photography are not neglected.
Sean O’ Riordan is a landscape photographer, YouTuber and workshop leader from Ireland. He has led workshops across Ireland and Italy over the past 3 years. Sean was always interested in photography having spent his childhood hiking and in the outdoors. He has a passion for photographing the night sky and chasing the best light he can.
Sean also produces landscape photography vlogs and tutorials for his YouTube channel. Teaching is a passion of his which he brings into his photography workshops and group sessions. Sean is thrilled to be part of the f-stop family.
Paulo is a Portuguese photographer based in Porto with a passion for landscape and nature photography. He travels throughout the world as a photography guide and loves to share his knowledge of various photography techniques.
Paulo is a filter expert and knows how to catch the light just perfectly.
For many years, Paulo has worked as a freelance photography tutor for Discover Photography, and now runs his own regular multi-day and one day workshops in Portugal and abroad. Paulo attended the Portuguese Institute of Photography to develop his skills and learn from the Masters of Light.

Patrik has worked in advertising and marketing for most of his life. Photography and images have always played a very central role in his work life, both as a client and image creator in all possible contexts within advertising, editorial and other communication. In 2011, he bought his first system camera to try something new. Travel and photo proved an unbeatable combination for his photographic venture.
On his many journeys Patrik captures objects, nature, buildings and beings and his images are transformed into alluring artworks. The overall objective is to create images that he himself would like to expose on the wall. With the artist’s perspective as the perpetual filter on the lens, he doesn’t shy away from adapting reality and enhancing natural beauty, making motifs into powerful photo art. Patrik’s objective is that his photos shall make people stop, think and perhaps find their own inspiration in everyday life.
Patrik regularly hosts courses in landscape and nature photography and his work has also been exhibited several times. Patrik’s photo art prints are sold in the PWMFoto web shop.
He approaches photography thanks to the mountain and the desire to document the adventures made exploring the Alps, climbing peaks of 4000 meters and ice falls.
His travels revolve around realities distant from the hectic life we are used to: Paolo loves to discover local populations in respect of their symbiotic relationship with the surrounding environment.The love for nature and animals pushes him towards new destinations and gratifies his person. The continuous search for perfect light and emotional drive are the protagonists of his photographic work, travel photography is the main communicative channel of his sensitivity.
Shubhadeep is a distinguished National-level Table Tennis player from India, discovered his passion for photography in his formative years, nurtured under the expert guidance of his father, a seasoned pro still photographer based in Kolkata, India. In 2020, he ventured into the enchanting realm of Astro-Landscape and Landscape photography, adding a new dimension to his artistic repertoire. His recent contributions have been featured on the Instagram handles of esteemed photography brands NISI INDIA, VANGUARD INDIA and LEOFOTO INDIA, further solidifying his presence in the photography community. Moreover, his work recently earned a coveted spot in the pages of the prestigious Asian Photography magazine.

Pablo is a director of photography with high attention for audio, an experienced FAA Certified drone pilot as well. He seems happiest when it's remote and conditions are miserable. But adventure isn't the only driving element for the trilingual Colombian native. He also focuses much of his attention on social justice issues. "Documentaries have an incredible ability to educate and to inspire," and it's another big reason he became a cinematographer.
Pablo has covered the first all-female Afghan mountaineering team, hippos in Colombia, drug wars in Mexico, climbing in Antarctica, kayaking in Greenland, volcanoes in Vanuatu, American prisons, extreme motor-cross racing, ivory poaching in Africa, labor abuses in the global food industry.
