JASSI OBERAI

 Jassi Oberai is a photographer, content creator, and photography educator based in India, known for his evocative work across landscapes, portraiture, and everyday human moments. With a signature command of color and light, his images carry a quiet permanence — the kind that stays with you long after you've seen them.

Jassi's journey with photography began in 2008, and by 2010 he had made a defining choice — leaving a 15-year career to follow the craft full time. He began leading workshops for Canon India that same year, and in 2013 founded Light Chasers Photography, a platform built on one simple belief: that great photography is as much about seeing differently as it is about technical skill.

That philosophy eventually grew into Xploring Light — his brand and creative home where he shares techniques, perspectives, and a deeper approach to image-making with photographers at every level.

A Lumix Brand Ambassador and the first Indian member of the global Lumix Creators' Backstage, Jassi has carried his camera across India and beyond — chasing the kind of light that transforms the ordinary into something worth remembering. Whether on a remote trail or in front of a workshop room, his mission remains the same: to keep exploring, keep unlearning, and keep passing it on.
