Mark Bauer has been a professional landscape photographer for over 20 years. Based in the south-west of England, he is best-known for his evocative landscapes of his local area, but his work has taken him around the world and his work has appeared in publications in many countries. He writes extensively for the UK photographic press and has authored 8 books on photography, including the best-selling The Landscape Photography Workshop (with Ross Hoddinott).
He is a multi-award winner, having had numerous images commended and highly commended in major competitions, including the UK Landscape Photographer of the Year and the International Landscape Photographer of the Year. He has been a category winner in both the International Garden Photographer of the Year and the Outdoor Photographer of the Year.
He is an extremely experienced photography tutor and when not taking his own photographs, he enjoys helping others develop their skills on the various workshops he runs throughout the UK and further afield.
