Q: Can I fit a Nikon Z9 with the Nikon 800PF mounted inside the Shinn 80L?
A: Assuming you are using the Master Cine ICU, then that combination of camera and lens will fit without issues. The lens hood would have to be reversed though. The NIKKOR Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S lens is roughly 15.2 inches in length. The Nikon Z9 is roughly 3.6 inches deep. So when combined that would be roughly 18.2 inches long. The Master Cine ICU is roughly 25.5 inches in length.
Q: Can I fit a Canon EF 600mm f4 mounted on a Canon R5 in the Shinn and the Master Cine ICU?
A: Yes. The Master Cine ICU has internal height of 62 cm. The 600 f4 and the R5 are around 54cm long when mounted.
Q: I'm interested in a backpack that will hold a Canon CN20 and a Blackmagic camera as well as batteries etc. Does the Shinn handle this kind of load?
A: Assuming you are talking about the Canon CN20 50-1000 mounted to a Black Magic, the Shinn 80L pack and the Master Cine ICU is your solution. The Master Cine has both Top & Back Access which allows for pull and show in the field from the top access.

I have used the Shin 80L bag for about 5 years and find it to be a great bag for my big whites and big adventures. I can fit my Canon RF 600 lens in it (camera unattached) and my RF 400 with R1 attached. The only issue I have had with this bag is the zipper tore away from the top pouch but f-stop replaced the bag for me without issue or hassle. Exceptional Customer Service. Thank you! Aloha, Lee
USI've had quite a few backpacks over 20 years ranging from Thinktank, Lowepro, Atlas Pack, you name it, it's been tried and tested here in Hawaii. Each one has their advantages and quirks. But the Shinn truly evened out the quirks, which are mainly either capacity, durability, or weight - choose two but you're left with something you'd like to change. The Duradiamond fabric is a more durable version to the highest grade waterproofing tech you'd see in higher end Goretex jackets. Zippers are all sealed. The flexible ICUs are so handy. Put a RED Komodo X kit together with 3 lenses and a Canon R5 for an 8 mile hike and things fell well balanced and protected in rain with and without the raincover, which was surprising. The next shoot didn't require stills, so I took out the Master Cine ICU and used the Large ICU to have a bit more room for a light kit ontop of the ICU in the pack. So awesome you can pull them out and repack. Didn't realize how handy the ICUs are. I can throw the Large into a Pelican 1510 snugly and put it on the plane if needed. Long story short, I won't be buying any other company's backpacks. Finally found exactly what I've been looking for, for many years. So much so that this is the first time I'm reviewing one because it's just so good.
USThis pack is a beast and can fit anything and everything that I'd ever need. 2 bodies, 180-600, drone, computer and a bunch more lenses. It doesn't get 5 stars from me because I am just not a fan of the straps. They are over-added and not flexible, too rigid and not comfortable in my opinion.

CanadaBomber pack. It deserves the positive reviews it has received in the areas of build quality, design, comfort, etc. This pack loses a star for me (i'm tempted to dock two in fact) because it has no daisy chains, built-in external compression straps, or places to lash gear like tripods or sleeping bags to. Instead, its clear that F-stop wants to make the user 100% dependent on purchasing their over-priced proprietary straps for which there are numerous tie-points (e.g. Apple products). I fundamentally think this is a crummy thing to do, especially on a product which strapping things to is so fundamentally necessary. Lesser complaints: - Its small for an 80L pack. It doesn't swallow gear quite like my 75L arcteryx pack. - The memory card slots in the back-panel are pretty dumb. Those would be way more useful as larger pockets since everyone has memory card wallets anyway.

The F-stop DuraDiamond backpack Shinn is designed for large equipment, so there is a lot of weight to carry, but the carrying comfort thanks to the aluminum frame is outstanding. I also described this on my Instagram account. However, I would still like to have one feature: when the backpack is fully loaded and I have to move it, I am missing a handle on the front like on the back, for more stability and safety.

Besides my equipment the bag is so spacious and comfortable I can use it for my clothes, food and everything you need. Costa RicaThe strap and locking system (metal) are unsuitable for wildlife photographers and icy temperatures. I have converted it to a silent system that can be opened with one hand. After three weeks of use, this is the only one. It may be a bit harsh or too critical to deduct a whole star, but there are no half stars.
