A: No, it is not possible to remove the hip belt.
Q: What is the largest ICU (Interchangeable Camera Unit) that will fit inside the AJNA?
A: The largest ICU that will go inside the AJNA is the Pro XL ICU. However, there will be less room available in the top compartment above the ICU as a result. The AJNA is best paired with the Pro Large ICU or the Slope Medium ICU.

In March 2024 i bought the Ajna 37l DuraDiamond bag with the Pro Large ICU. The bag traveled with me from Europe to 2x US and also India. Its perfect hand luggage size and nice fit for hiking and traveling makes i the perfect choice for me. I use the bag 1-3x a week and have also recommended that to two more friends. I carry a Fujifilm XT-4 with 4-6 lenses, the biggest XF150-600. The bag is big enough for day-hikes but also overnight stays (see image with sleeping bag attached, approximately 12 kg). Fixtures for hiking poles or other gear are perfect. Its also very suitable for bike and hike tours. The downside! Ther is yust one thing which absolutely sucks and this is the hip belt. The metal parts are noisy, especially if you want to shoot wildlife that can be very annoying. Also the belt squeezes shirts into it why a perforated already thee of my beloved merino shirts! !!!F-stop, this is something you must fix and retrofit!!!

Took this thing with all my gear ALL over the city, the mountains, and the salt flats, oh and up a glacier in a hailstorm! My gear was safe, dry, and easy to get to when I wanted to get a quick shot or change a lens.
USLos que usamos la mochila con mucho material, mucho peso, en cualquier condición de nieve, hielo, arena, etc… no podemos dudar sobre si la mochila aguantará o no. Simplemente ha de ser la mejor y fstop da la talla. Honestamente.

I just took the Ajna 37L out on its first real trial run. It was a perfect carry-on bag for outgoing flight—holding my clothes and a mid-size insert with gear for two days—a big deal because I was concerned the bag wouldn’t fit in the smaller overhead compartments of a De Havilland D-8 400. The second day, it was filming in the ice-fog and blizzards of the Canadian Rockies. Stellar performance. Combined with the Mano Water Bottle Pouch and straps for tripod, the unit feels complete. I also own a Sukha for more involved shoots, but the Ajna covers all my on-the-trail needs.

ILWhen looking to a travel camera bag, I had some key requirements. It needed to have good support in the waist, enough space for gear and extras but, still be carry-on flight size and light enough for my back. The AJNA DuraDiamond has fit the bill. I use it weekly travelling to local parks and on several extensive trips, one to Antarctica the other north to Svalbard. Nature has thrown everything at it and my gear has been protected and the pack looks great. For me, it feels great and comfortable on my back for long hikes. The metal belt buckle has become super easy and quick to remove and clamp on. F-stop support has been very helpful and communicative with any issues/concerns I have had. It’s been a great experience. I am glad I choose this pack.
