Omar Alonso Bautista is a Spanish wildlife photographer, naturalist, and environmental educator whose work combines documentary photography, field research, and conservation. For more than two decades he has devoted his career to observing and documenting wildlife, particularly across the ecosystems of the Iberian Peninsula and the mountains of the Sierra de Guadarrama.

With a background as a forestry technician and long experience in wildlife monitoring, he has participated in field studies including the monitoring that confirmed the return of the Iberian wolf as a breeding species in the Madrid region after more than half a century of absence.

Alongside his research and photographic work, Omar works as a nature guide and expedition leader with the company Wild Iberian Nature, leading wildlife photography trips and nature expeditions both in Spain and internationally.
