Javier is a full-time nature photographer living in Quito, Ecuador. He completed his studies in Tourism and his thesis degree in Bird Photography.

For the last 7 years, he has worked as a photography guide in different countries in Central and South America, designing and leading photography tours. He has also collaborated in the design and construction of photography blinds in Ecuador.

Javier is passionate about photography and, during his trips, he likes to combine different photo techniques, such as hummingbird multiflash, macro photography, and traditional bird photography in the field and at bird feeders.

The driving force behind Focused On Wildlife, Victor is an award-winning wildlife photographer with over 20 years of experience capturing nature’s most breathtaking moments. Originally from South Africa and now based in the UK, he has traveled the globe, photographing everything from bears and whales in Canada to his personal favorite—leopards in the woodlands of South Africa. Páll Jökull is a native Icelander, professional landscape photographer, and experienced photo guide who specializes in capturing the raw beauty of Iceland and the Faroe Islands. An Eagle Scout, alpinist, skier, climber, and lifelong outdoorsman, Andrew has built a career that’s really just an excuse to be outside—exploring and sharing the greatest creation of all: our planet.

As an award-winning photographer & filmmaker his work has brought him across six continents—inside glaciers, across Antarctic fast ice with Emperor Penguins, face to face with lions and up the slopes of remote peaks.

Arjan is an adventurous photographer with an insane passion for Scandinavia and the Nordic countries. 
He is based in the south east of The Netherlands.

Gustavo Acosta is a Colombian photographer specializing in mountain, landscape, and climbing photography, passionate about capturing the power and beauty of nature in its purest form. His work blends technical skill, sensitivity, and a deep respect for the environments he explores—from snow-capped peaks to towering rock walls and remote valleys. With his camera, he seeks to tell visual stories that convey not only the majesty of these places but also the emotions and challenges involved in reaching them.

Ignacio Yúfera was born in Madrid in 1968, and has spent periods of his life in France, Canada, and Panama, where he currently lives. He finds it kind of silly when people speak of themselves in the third person.

Right now his main area of interest is the Neotropic (Central and South America plus the Caribbean), after years of traveling through Africa, Europe and North America (mostly western Canada). After moving to Panama Ignacio founded Tamandúa nature & photo tours, and lead trips throughout the country. His company owns and manages a 103-hectare cloud forest reserve & lodge in Panama's western highlands, where they conduct their photography workshops and tours.

His work is regularly published in numerous magazines, including BBC Wildlife, the Handbook of the Birds of the World and Handbook of the Mammals of the World, as well as the usual newspapers, travel books and wildlife tour company brochures. His images are marketed through the agencies FLPA (UK) and Biosphoto (France). Ignacio is the author of Birds of Morocco, a coffee-table book published in French, Arabic and English editions, with a foreword by Morocco’s Royal Princess Lalla Hasnaa.
