The Micro Tiny ICU (Interchangeable Camera Unit) is a compact, padded, configurable case to carry your camera body, lenses, or some key accessories. It features storage space for compact camera gear, padded lid with a ¾ length zipper for easy access to your gear. The Micro Tiny ICU is perfect for protecting smaller amounts of kit in transit, such as a compact camera, compact mirrorless camera with a lens attached, or compact key accessories. The padded and microfibre lined interior features removable padded, microfibre lined velcro dividers to allow full customization so you can pack your gear how you want it. The elastic retainer straps help prevent your gear from rattling around while you’re on the move. ICUs are at the very heart of the f-stop modular camera bag and pack system, allowing you to customize how much room your camera gear takes up in your pack.
Q: Is there padding on the Front Lid?
A: Yes there is padding pillow inside the lid that can be removed or bent and placed under the ICU. The padding is not as thick or rigid as those on the sides.
Q: Can the Micro Tiny fit a Canon EOS R6 II with a Canon RF 16-35 f/2.8 lens?
A: It would be a tight fit, you can use our 45 day return policy and see if it works for you.
Q: Can the Micro Tiny fit a Canon EOS RP with a Canon RF 14-35 f/4 lens?
A: Yes, this Camera Insert will accommodate the Canon RP and an RF 14-35mm lens. You can fit them in separately or connected. But there will not be much room for other lenses. Canon RP dimensions are (W x H x D). 132.5mm × 85.0mm × 70.0mm. Canon RF 14-35mm dimensions are (Max. Diameter x Length) 84.1mm x 99.8mm. So with the camera and lens attached, the total length/depth will be roughly 169.8mm. The dimensions for the f-stop Micro Tiny Insert are (DxWxH) 102mm x 152mm x 203mm.
Q: Can the Micro Tiny fit a Nikon Z5 plus 1 or 2 pancake lenses, such as the Nikon Z 40mm f/2?

Q: How is a Micro Tiny ICU attached to a bag. It is pretty small. Is It fixed on one side of the bag only?
A: There are side attachment straps inside the packs which can be used. But generally, people who are only using the Micro Tiny Camera Insert (ICU) are using them in a non-f-stop pack and they just let the Camera Insert (ICU) float. Very few users actually use the internal attachment straps, it is easier to let the Micro Tiny ICU float and keep it in place with other gear and compression straps for the pack

By storing it in an ICU, I can keep it in the closet and easily add or remove it from my backpack as needed. For instance, I use the Micro Tiny ICU for my star tracker and its accessories: tracker, laser for polar alignment, V-plate, equatorial wedge, lens heater, and a filter for focusing on the stars.

Este ICU es muy pequeño pero perfecto para mi. Yo lo utilizo con un pequeño kit de flashes y el disparador remoto para la cámara. Como no siempre utilizo los flashes en todas las sesiones o trabajos, los tengo siempre listos en el Micro Tiny. De esta forma puedo meterlos o sacarlos de la mochila en un momento en función de las necesidades y no dejar un huevo vacío en el ICU principal en caso de no llevarlos. En la última foto puedes ver el Micro Tiny dentro de una Ajna con un ICU Pro Large. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a really small ICU but perfect for me. I use it with a small flash kit that has two speed lights and the trigger for the camera. I don't always use the flashes on my sessions, so I always have them ready inside the Micro Tiny. This way I can put them in or take them out of the backpack in a second depending on the needs and not have an empty space in the main ICU in cate of not taking them. On the last photo you can see the Micro Tiny inside an Ajna with a Pro Large ICU.
