Join Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove to photograph puffins under the midnight sun on a remote island in the Greenland Sea. Every year millions of seabirds come to Grímsey for nesting and houses one of Iceland’s biggest puffin colonies. Together with 24 hours of daylight, there are endless possibilities! Grímsey is a true heaven for photographers that enjoy photographing birds. Because the island is small, everything is easily accessible on foot during this bird photo workshop. This allows you to slow down and focus on getting the best shots without having to worry about travelling or getting on time to our hotel.

Hardly any other mountain range has gained as much popularity among photographers in recent years as the Dolomites. No wonder, as the landscape—designated a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site—is unique and of extraordinary beauty. What characterizes these fascinating mountains is the contrast between gentle, green alpine meadows and steeply rising rock faces with their rugged and bizarre peaks. The “Pale Mountains,” as the Dolomites are also known, offer a wide variety of diverse and exciting subjects: from crystal-clear mountain lakes, idyllic alpine meadows, and lush forests to dramatic cloud formations that often surround the jagged peaks.
You have the opportunity to join us on a one-week journey through this unique mountain landscape. Learn from us how to showcase this mountain range so that you can take home truly unique photographs.
We will spend four nights in the heart of this fascinating mountain world at a hotel centrally located near our photography spots. From there, we will explore the fantastic landscapes of the Dolomites in a star-shaped pattern and admire the views of the surrounding mountain peaks. The accommodations during our one-week Dolomites trip are chosen so that we do not have to undertake long hikes in the morning or evening (maximum walking time of 90 minutes) to reach the best locations. We know the Dolomites extremely well, having traveled to this region regularly in recent years and spent countless weeks there.
If you have always wanted to experience and photograph the unique mountain landscapes of the Dolomites, you are in exactly the right place. During this one-week journey, we focus on landscape photography and show you how to use your equipment correctly in different lighting conditions. We help you bring your personal dream images to life. We usually photograph early in the morning and in the evening during twilight in order to capture the best light. Depending on the weather conditions, the Dolomites can also offer exciting lighting moods during the day. In between, we will regularly have time for image reviews, to rest a little, or simply to let the mountain scenery take effect and inspire us.
